Location: Sahara Desert

Type: Mesosiderite
This meteorite was found in 1985. The total known weight is unknown,
possibly up to 50 kilograms. It was discovered by two American oil
workers while stationed in Libya. They found close to 50 kilograms
(an approximate guess). They appearantly only brought out a few kilograms
of small pieces before being transferred out of the area. Some of it is in
Paris for analysis, but has not been finished yet. It is a beautiful
mesosiderite, very rich in green olivine and is extremely stable.
